With the bottleneck of port operation moving from the quay side to the yard area, storage yard management is becoming increasingly important in the container terminal. This paper studies on storage yard management in container terminal, a flexible yard template strategy is proposed instead of the fixed yard template strategy. Based on the strategy, an integrated optimization model simultaneously considering space allocation and yard crane deployment for the tactical storage yard management is formulated. Besides, Numerical experiments are conduced to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy and mathematical model.  相似文献

The use of hydrogel in cartilage tissue engineering is especially popular due to its high hydrophilic property which is similar to native cartilage matrix. Alginate hydrogel was used as a transient scaffold material to facilitate chondrocyte proliferation into a three‐dimensional scaffold‐free living hyaline cartilaginous graft (LhCG). As LhCG is purely cell‐based and has a marked resemblance to native hyaline cartilage, it served as an excellent in vitro platform for studying the endochondral ossification pathway. Due to the complexity of events involved throughout endochondral ossification, this study only focuses on early stages of the process where it involves chondrocyte hypertrophy and blood vessel invasion. Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were selected as the target cells for possible endothelialization in the LhCG template. They were seeded onto the LhCG construct and subjected to vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) treatment. Results suggested that VEGF is indeed a potent driving force for initiation of the endochondral pathway. It alone is sufficient to induce hypertrophy in chondrocytes and the corresponding expression of osteogenic genes with or without the presence of HUVECs in the LhCG template. On the other hand, the effect of HUVECs in the LhCG system was less evident. It is hypothesized that this is attributed to the preservation of anti‐angiogenic properties in primary chondrocytes from the LhCG construct, inhibiting HUVECs from endothelialization in the LhCG+HUVEC construct. Based on the outcome from this study, it is recommended that hypertrophy in chondrocytes should be induced prior to endothelial cell introduction so that the microenvironment will be altered to favor angiogenesis within the cartilaginous template. © 2013 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

This study developed a computerised method for fovea centre detection in fundus images. In the method, the centre of the optic disc was localised first by the template matching method, the disc–fovea axis (a line connecting the optic disc centre and the fovea) was then determined by searching the vessel-free region, and finally the fovea centre was detected by matching the fovea template around the centre of the axis. Adaptive Gaussian templates were used to localise the centres of the optic disc and fovea for the images with different resolutions. The proposed method was evaluated using three publicly available databases (DIARETDB0, DIARETDB1 and MESSIDOR), which consisted of a total of 1419 fundus images with different resolutions. The proposed method obtained the fovea detection accuracies of 93.1%, 92.1% and 97.8% for the DIARETDB0, DIARETDB1 and MESSIDOR databases, respectively. The overall accuracy of the proposed method was 97.0% in this study.  相似文献

To determine the stability of a frozen soil structure, the soil’s long-term shear strength must first be determined. Freeze-thaw cycling is a weathering process in soil (i.e., a process of energy input and output). In cold climates, the freeze-thaw cycle (FTC) has a great influence on long-term strength and stability of soil, which are important considerations for frozen soil engineering. This paper offers a brief introduction to the spherical template indenter and introduces the FTC-time analogy method for forecasting long-term strength of frozen soil. Using the number of cycle repetitions (numbers of freeze-thaw cycles) and the cycle duration (minutes), we calculate the long-term strength of the curve family and their normalized curves, which allows us to predict the long-term frozen soil deformation and strength. Because of the soil transformation that occurs due to the number of repetitions and the duration of FTCs, the results of earlier research can be compared. The FTC-time analogy method can be used to solve problems of forecasting long-term frozen soil strength, as well as for research concerning frozen soil engineering.  相似文献

Spherical zinc sulfide (ZnS) nanoparticles dispersed on bacterial cellulose (BC) nanofibers homogeneously were successfully fabricated through in situ precipitation method using BC as template and explored the formation mechanism. The structure and properties were characterized by Fourier transform infrared, X‐ray diffractometer, FESEM, and so on. The results demonstrated that the nanoparticles were sphalerite structure ZnS and the size increased with the increase of the zinc precursor concentrations. Moreover, a high photocatalytic activity (92%) for degradation of methyl orange was observed and the photoluminescence spectra of the nanocomposites exhibited a blue emission band centered at 468 nm. The flexible BC membrane carried of ZnS nanoparticles might be a promising candidate in the application fields of fluorescence and photo‐catalysis. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. Nanotubes consisting of samarium oxide (SmNT) were fabricated by electroless deposition using ion track-etched polycarbonate templates. To achieve nanotubes with thin walls and small surface roughness, the tubes were generated by a procedure containing several steps under aqueous conditions. Ultrathin triangular gold nanoframes are synthesized in high yield through selective gold deposition on the edges of triangular silver nanoprisms and subsequent silver etching with mild wet etchants. These ultrathin gold nanoframes are surfactant‐free with tailorable ridge thickness from 1.8 to 6 nm and exhibit adjustable and distinct surface plasmon resonance bands in the visible and near‐IR region. In comparison, etching of the nanoprism template by galvanic replacement can only create frame structures with much thicker ridges, which have much lower catalytic activity for 4‐nitrophenol reduction than the ultrathin gold nanoframes.  相似文献
